Transit Morning

Here’s a very quick note. The morning on the Kona side of the Big Island is looking quite pleasant – windy but clear. As of the 3:00 am report, the Mauna Kea summit access road is open. Which is to say, negotiable. Access to the mountain is severely restricted to keep the summit road from looking like a parking lot.

Anyhow, here are two quick shots from my hotel room window.
